Okay. This is probably gonna sound stupid but I don’t care. 

So this small little drawing I made is probably the best artwork I am proud of. Ever. This was created after me wallowing in pity for a few days browsing numerous tutorials and just eye-gawking at other incredible artists here on the webs tumblr. Yup, I’m not a professional artist in the least, I’m just a college kid who’s been drawin’ stuff straight outta the womb and a cartoon geek, haven’t/doesn’t go to an art school, and yadda yadda. But I’m happy about it cause about when ya look at it you feel the whoopy-loopy-ness when you see it ( well I hope you do), and most of my drawings have always been very static poses. okay, basically always static poses. ALWAYS static. Static is boring BRO, it’s all about dynamic. Giving characters poses that are awesome make em’ awesome.  Also dem colors too! Yeah this isn’t photoshop obviously but what I learned from creeping on all the amazing artists tumblrs here is that you color your heart out in everything. EVERYTHING. Can’t always use the same two shades…which I am always so guilty of doing in everything I did. Granted I’m not really done with this dumb doodle cause I am so sleepy and its waaay past bedtime annd i did this really quick and now I’m just thinking of more excuses. But using more than one, two, even 23 shades, tints, hues, whatevers, of the same color is schway. It gives it so much more life. I’m so stupid I haven’t done it before! Annd allsoo, the warm and cool colors concept. This rule is a new rule that I’m following hardcore from now on. Want to feel/give a concept of joy, warmth, hilarity, and life. Turn on the stove and heat them colors up bro. Or are ya aiming for that cool, jazzy, collected, easy, laid-back feel instead? Get the colors on the rocks. Oh yeah, and always gotta be confident when you draw. Lord knows I am now. Come at me paper, pen, and tablet. 

yeah. Don’t know if I made any sense. Or if it wasn’t corny enough. Guess this is kind of a “oh wait, I can do this!” moments/post to myself since I got off my lazy carcass and did something about it.
